Curriculum Intent

The History curriculum aims to ensure that all students have a secure knowledge and understanding of the past based upon a coherent, chronological narrative. We want students to be excited and enthusiastic about learning History, as well as understanding the people and events that have shaped both their local communities and the wider world into the diverse society we see today.

Career Pathways

History is a good subject to study if you wish to work in Law. It is also good for teaching and if you want to work in business. The skills you will learn will equip you for a number of professional occupations.
