For Students with Sporting Ambition

Launching in September 2027, the ICA Sports Academy is designed for students who demonstrate talent, commitment and a passion for sport.

The academy offers aspiring athletes the opportunity to develop their sporting performance while continuing to excel academically. Through specialist coaching, competitive opportunities and a programme tailored to support both sporting and personal development, students will be challenged to achieve their full potential both on and off the field of play.

Important Information

Applications for the ICA Sports Academy do not replace the Year 7 admissions process.

Parents and carers must still apply for a place at Irlam and Cadishead Academy through the local authority admissions process.
