At Irlam and Cadishead Academy, we believe that independent learning encourages the development of personal skills and allows students to take more ownership of their education.
There are three types of tasks that you could receive:
Students receive one piece of homework from each of Maths, English and Science once a week.
The independent study timetable is below. It shows what night each subject is set on, and also the day it is due in:
The library is open at lunchtime everyday after school every day from 15:00 – 16:00 for pupils to complete homework.
Sparx Maths club is afterschool on a Friday from 15:00. You can recieve support from a Maths teacher.
Sparx Science club is after school on Monday from 15:00. You can receive support from a science teacher.
SEND students also have access to the Hub for additional support.
