Curriculum Intent

Our department aims to offer a rich and varied curriculum through PRE (Philosophy, Religion and Ethics) in Key Stage 3 and Religious Studies in Key Stage 4.  This curriculum will prepare our students for life in a culturally diverse and everchanging world. The content of this course moves beyond the traditional study of religions and adds the complementary study of ethical issues and wider philosophical questions that religions attempt to address.

Right to Withdraw
  • Parents have the right to withdraw their children from all or part of religious education.  
  • For any requests to withdraw your child from religious education, please contact the school to arrange a meeting with the Principal in the first instance.
