Partial school re-opening
After a very successful start with partial reopening to the Year 10 students, I am so proud of our Y10 students who have been impeccable; polite, excited to learn and adapted remarkably well to the changes throughout the academy. We hope you have seen our posts on social media!
All other students in all year groups
If your child is not in Y10, is not a ‘vulnerable student’ and does not have an EHCP then they will be continuing with online learning from home.  There is currently no proposed date for the return to school of pupils currently in Years 7 to 9. It is therefore increasingly important that they continue to follow our 'online learning programme' and study for at least 3 hours per day. Many Thanks, Mrs Holdsworth.

Welcome from the Principal

Welcome to Irlam and Cadishead Academy, a school of Standards & Character.

We expect the best from all of our students - both in their academic studies and in the part they play within our school community. We know that each of them has the potential to do great things and as teachers our role is to give them the tools they need to thrive.

We do not shy away from high standards - good uniform, behaviour and attitudes all provide the foundations for effective learning. Our students come to school ready to learn and determined to succeed. Across our school, we are proud to have built a calm, purposeful climate that allows students to enjoy their learning.

Good character is something that stays with us for a lifetime, so we promote kindness, confidence and resilience in all we do. Our students are polite, respectful and courteous. As a school, we strive to support one another and celebrate our successes.

The best way to see what we can offer is to visit us in person. We look forward to welcoming you soon.

Mrs T Holdsworth - Principal
