Sports at ICA

Enrichment has been a huge focus here at ICA, the sports enrichment has been extremely popular with the students.

Over this past half-term, PE has had over 200 pupils engage in PE clubs, fixtures, and sports leadership opportunities. These include boys and girls Football and Rugby, Netball, Dance, Basketball, and Table Tennis as well as the return of our rowing initiative. The year 8 and 9 sports leaders have led indoor Athletics and SEND events for over 25 primary schools.

In the last couple of weeks, our new Rowing team have taken to the water for the very first time, the Year 9 Boys Football Team had a fantastic afternoon at Manchester United's training complex, our talented Year 7 rugby league team took part in a Schools Rugby League competition and won all games, they were crowned winners!

We have seen so much success over the past 7 weeks and are excited to see what the next half-term brings.
