Head Boy and Girl Welcome All New Students

Our Head Boy and Head Girl are delighted to write a message of support welcoming all of our new students that are starting their secondary school journey at ICA this September:

"On behalf of the students here at ICA I would like to welcome you to our school.
Although the thought of joining secondary school can be quite daunting, I want to reassure you that there isn't anything to worry about. I'm sure you will adapt to school life very quickly and will make some fantastic, new friends along the way.
Each and every year, ICA is improving and innovating to make sure we, as students, have everything we need to reach our full potential. If you ever have any issues or worries, there is always someone to reach out to for guidance or advice - the entire school community is very supportive.
You only get one opportunity to experience secondary school so make sure you work hard, express yourself and set yourself up for a fantastic future where I have no doubt you will achieve your goals."

"Welcome to ICA - we are very much looking forward to you joining us in September.
I'm sure you're feeling a mixture of both nerves and excitement ahead of starting secondary school. When I first started at ICA in Year 7, I remember feeling nervous as I didn't know any other students. However, straight away I was welcomed into the school community, and found new friends very quickly. Now, as a Year 11, I look back over my time at ICA fondly and have so many fantastic memories that I will take with me.
Although this year has been very different for everyone, the staff here are incredibly supportive and if you have any concerns, or would just like some advice, they are more than happy to help you.
At ICA, we set high aspirations for ourselves and are challenged by our teachers to be the best we can be. I encourage you to take full advantage of all the opportunities on offer, both inside and outside of the classroom, and really make the most of your time here."
